Earthquake victims

I chose NW medical teams, they're my favorite, with Red Cross coming in at a close 2nd. The Earthquake in Indonesia made me sit up in bed and say WTF? Seriously, what next, huh? It is breaking my tiny heart.

the beautiful work of R. Gail Wick

is now available for gawking over and purchasing online at Gail's website. She not only makes amazing jewelry that she casts and works herself, but she is also an expert sewer by hand and machine, screenprinter, photographer, and all-around fantasticator. Lindsay and I were just telling some ladies at the Portland Church of Craft meeting about her yesterday. I said "she's one of those people- so talented you just want to break their fingers!" The Bag that she screenprinted with the "Injury is so painful, death so permanent" logo would be an excellent gift for a certain gemini's impending birthday-
especially since said gem only wants handmade items this year.
